Who you are

We are looking for an enthusiastic, personable candidate who has a high energy level and keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate would have 5-10 years working in the super-prime high end residential joinery sector and have a comprehensive understanding of the materials at this level such as timber, veneer, glass,metal, upholstery, and specialist finished.

You will need at least 5 years Solidworks experience and would be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. A good level of proficiency with AutoCAD also an advantage.

You will need to be presentable and able to engage professionally with our clients, most of whom are high net worth individuals who are very exacting and require the best possible service.

At the same time, you will need to carry yourself on a construction site and be able to build relationships with site teams and interfacing trades to ensure that all information is gathered to enable you to produce high quality drawings.

You will need to be able to deliver drawings of the highest quality and to programme and manage your own time to achieve target dates.

You will need to have good personal skills and be able to work on your own or as part of a team on the larger projects.

What you'll do

Attend Meetings

·        Attend meetings with client to establish design brief, finishes etc.

·        Attend meetings with project architects and interior designers.

·        Attend meetings with site teams and interfacing trades to co-ordinate works.

Surveys

·        Attending sites to carry out surveys using gridlines.

·        Managing initial templating of working area

Drawings & Schedules

·        Create initial designs that accommodate client’s vision.

·        Create accurate and detailed workshop drawings from architects’ and interior designers’ drawings using Solidworks

·        Accurately track, record and report designer, architect, and client lead changes and/or additions.

·        Create sample schedules using excel

·        Co-ordinate with interfacing trades to ensure correct integration of works.

·        Adhere to design programmes
